MVRRC 12th Annual Turkey Trot Run, 1Mile, 5K & 10K Race Event

Moreno Valley Road Runners Club will be celebrating our 12th annual Turkey Trot fun run at Lake Perris State Recreation Area Dam 17801 Lake Perris Drive Perris, Ca 92571. On November 22, 2025, at 7:30 am.

🏃‍♂️ What to Expect

• Event: Don’t miss Southern California’s best Thanksgiving tradition! Run/walk a 5K or 10K before you feast.
• Kids Race: There will be a 1-mile kids race (ages 12 and under).
• Inclusivity: Everyone is welcome!

📍 Where It All Happens

Enjoy a historic course along the Dam, referred to as The Lake Perris Dam. You’ll pass by such a notable lake. What a great way to see the beautiful lake in the morning.

🏁 Course Details

The race starts and finishes at the Dam. 10K race will run the 5K course twice. This is a flat long course with no traffic.

🗓️ When to Arrive

• Date: November 22, 2025.
• Packet Pickup: Opens at 7:30 AM. Arrive early!

⏰ Race Start Times

The kid’s 1-mile race starts at 8:15 AM, and the 5K and the 10K start at 8:30 AM.

🏆 Awards

• 1-Mile Race: Top 3 boys and girls will receive awards.
• 5K Race: Top 3 Male and Females will receive a trophy.
• 10K Race: Top 3 open Male and Females will receive a trophy.

🥇 Participant Giveaways

Medals to all participants and the first 50 sign-ups will receive a t-shirt.

💰 Registration Fees

• Kids 1 Mile Race: $5.00
• 5K Race: $20.00
• 10K Race: $25.00
• Payment: On race day, we accept cash, Venmo, Cash app, and Zelle. Entry to the park will be $10.00.
