The Big Easy is BACK in Little Elm for its 12th year on February 28, 2026, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm! Join us for your Cajun favorites, including:

• Mardi Gras-themed 5K: Enjoy a festive run.
• Crawfish boil: Savory food for all.
• Live music: Featuring SPAZMATICS.
• Fun contests: Engage in thematic games.

Participation Details

Sign up for our 5K and fun walk!

• Open to all ages: Everyone can participate.
• T-shirt included: All participants receive a t-shirt.
• Finishers' medal: Given to the first 1,000 registered participants.
• Awards: Best dressed male, female, and krewe.

• Pre-Sale: $25.
• Day Of Event: $30.
• 5K Runner Add-On: $20.
• Includes: 2lbs of crawfish, 1 corn, and 2 potatoes.

Family Pack (Pre-Sale Only): $60, including 5 lbs of crawfish, 3 corn, and 5 potatoes. (Limited quantity available.)

• Free parking: For participants who pick up their race-day packet in advance.

Awards

• Overall Male & Female: Recognitions for top finishers.
• Masters Male & Female: Separate category for masters runners.
• Age Groups: Breakdowns starting from 10 & under up to 80+
• Chip Time: All awards based on chip timing: awards not mailed post-event.

Weather Policy

The race is rain or shine! For safety reasons, we reserve the right to modify or cancel a race in the event of severe weather. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be taken to ensure the athletes' safety. In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be canceled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the organizer and local authorities.

We always strive to produce a full and safe multisport event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. A considerable amount goes into planning a multisport event, and we do so with the best intentions. We appreciate your understanding of these policies and your participation.
