The Big Easy is BACK in Little Elm for its 11th year on March 1, 2025, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm!

🍤 Cajun Favorites

• Mardi Gras-themed 5K: A festive race for all.
• Crawfish boil: Savor delicious crawfish platters.
• Live music: Enjoy sounds from Le Freak Band.
• Fun contests: Participate in themed games, including King Cake Eating!

🏃‍♂️ 5K and Fun Walk

• All ages welcome: Join us for the run/walk!
• T-shirt included: Every participant gets a t-shirt.
• Finishers medal: First 1000 registered will receive one.
• Awards for best dressed: Categories include female, male, and krewe.

🦞 Crawfish Information

• Crawfish platters: Plates come with potatoes, butter, corn, and seasoning.
• Pricing: Crawfish platters will be $15.

Participants must show bib for free onsite parking, so early packet pick-up is encouraged.

• 5:00 PM: 1K Fun Run starts
• 5:15 PM: 5K starts
• 6:15 PM: 5K awards begin + PARTY!

Overall Male & Female, Masters Male & Female

The breakdown of age groups will start with 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29 and continue in 5 year increments, up to 80+.

All awards are based on chip time. AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED OUT AFTER THE EVENT.

☔ Weather Policy

Race is rain or shine! For safety reasons, we reserve the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.

In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the organizer and local authorities.

We always strive to produce a full and safe multi-sport event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns.
