The Big Easy is BACK in Little Elm for its 12th year on February 28, 2026, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm! Join us for your Cajun favorites including:

• Mardi Gras-themed 5K: A festive running experience.
• Crawfish boil: Enjoy delicious Cajun cuisine.
• Live music: Featuring SPAZMATICS.
• Fun contests: Including themed games and programming.

🏃 Race Registration

Sign up for our 5K and fun walk!

• Open to all ages: Everyone can participate.
• T-shirt and medal: All participants receive a t-shirt: the first 1000 registered will get a finishers medal.
• Awards: Given for the best dressed female, male, and krewe (a krewe is five to 10 people).

5K Runner Add-On: $20

Each order includes: 2lbs of crawfish, 1 corn, and 2 potatoes.

Family Pack (Pre-Sale Only): $60
Includes 5 lbs of crawfish, 3 corn, and 5 potatoes. (Limited quantity available.)

• Free parking: Participants who pick up their race day packet in advance will get free parking.

⏰ Event Schedule

• 5:00 PM: 1K Fun Run starts
• 5:15 PM: 5K starts
• 6:15 PM: 5K awards begin + PARTY!

🏆 Awards

Overall Male & Female, Masters Male & Female.

The breakdown of age groups will start with 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29 and continue in 5 year increments, up to 80+. All awards are based on chip time. AWARDS WILL NOT BE MAILED OUT AFTER THE EVENT.

Race is rain or shine! For safety reasons, we reserve the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes.

In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour. Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the organizer and local authorities.
