Race Overview

Our Annual Hightail'n for Hadley Jo 5K/1 Mile Fun Run will be at Chaney's Dairy Barn on March 7, 2026. Our mission remains the same - raise awareness and funds to support finding a treatment for Hereditary Motor and Sensory Neuropathy, Type VIB which affects the SLC24A46 gene.

Registration Fees

• 5K Run: $25.00
• Fun Run/Walk: $15.00

Registration fees will increase by $5.00 after February 15th.

Register by February 15th to receive a race t-shirt.

Awards

5K Awards will be given in the following categories:

• Top Overall Male: Recognizing the best male runner.
• Top Overall Female: Recognizing the best female runner.
• Top Overall Masters Male: 40-49 years old.
• Top Overall Masters Female: 40-49 years old.
• Top Overall Grandmasters Male: 50-59 years old.
• Top Overall Grandmasters Female: 50-59 years old.
• Top Overall Great Grandmasters Male: 60 and up.
• Top Overall Great Grandmasters Female: 60 and up.

If someone is in one of these categories they cannot win a medal in the age brackets.

Age Brackets

Age Brackets Male AND Female:

• Under 10: Young runners welcome.
• 10-14: Category for teens.
• 15-19: Young adults.
• 20-24: Early twenties.
• 25-29: Late twenties.
• 30-34: Mature adults.
• 35-39: Experienced runners.
• 40-44: A competitive category.
• 45-49: Almost reaching the masters.
• 50-54: Seasoned participants.
• 55-59: Almost grandmasters.
• 60-64: Representing the seniors.
• 65 and up: Honoring our elder runners.
