Downtown 5K

🏃‍♂️ RACE INFORMATION

Date: Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Downtown 5K start time: 10:00 a.m.
Youth races start time: 9:00 a.m.

• Youth Races: Two races for boys and two for girls.
• Ages: 1 to 5 (100 yards) and 6 to 10 (1/4 mile).
• Location: 10 Memorial Boulevard, Providence, Rhode Island.
• Extras: Chip timing and T-shirts for all entrants.

🚦 SAFETY RULES

For safety reasons, please follow these safety rules:

• Pets: No pets allowed.
• Strollers: Allowed for walkers only.
• Starting Line: Walkers will line up at the back for the start of the 5K.
• Appreciation: Thank you.

ONLINE

• Downtown 5K: $32 to 3/31/2025
• 4/1/2025 to 7/31/2025: $34
• 8/1/2025 to 9/14/2025: $36
• Race weekend: Saturday and Sunday: $40

Youth races: Presented by Providence Country Day School.

• Youth Fee: $17 to 3/31/2025
• 4/1/2025 to 7/31/2025: $18
• 8/1/2025 to 9/14/2025: $19
• Race weekend: Saturday and Sunday: $20

Online entries close on 9/13/2025 at 8:00 p.m. Sorry, no refunds.

🎫 ON-SITE REGISTRATION, RACE NUMBER AND T-SHIRT PICK-UP

We encourage everyone who is able to pick up their race number before race day to make for a stress-free race morning!

📍 PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP

• Friday, September 12th, 2025: noon to 6:00 p.m. at Marathon Sports, Providence Place, Level One, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Saturday, September 13th: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Marathon Sports, Providence Place, Level One, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Race Day, Sunday, September 14th: 8:00 a.m. at Marathon Sports, Providence Place, Level One, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Race Start: Youth races start at 9:00 a.m. and 5K starts at 10:00 a.m.

🏆 Awards

Prize Structure 5K: Individual Awards:

• Top 3 Overall: Women/Men/Non-Binary
• Winners: Men/Women in various age categories.

NOTE: Awards are based on "Gun Time". Elite runners in all age groups should line up at the front.

👥 TEAMS

Family and Friends.

• Entries: Unlimited team entries. Top 3 times score.
• Award: To winning Team.
• Corporate teams: Unlimited team entries. Top 3 times score.

Note: "Family and Friends" and "Corporate Teams" awards are based on chip time.

Entry fee is the same as individual fees shown above. Teams must use the online system for team entries.
