The Tyrone Race Series presents The Gold Rush Race!

The Gold Rush Race will be a 5k, 10k & Kids Sprint Event that will take place over Tyrone's Annual Tyrone Irish Heritage Celebration on March 15th, 2025!

💖 Cause and Benefactor

Proceeds from this year's Gold Rush Race Event benefactor is Purrfect Paws and Pals of Tyrone.

• Organization: Purrfect Paws and Pals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
• Mission: They consist of Tyrone community members who have a deep love for cats and concern for the strays.
• Commitment: They are committed to helping as much as possible and accepting donations.
• Support: Donations will offset veterinary expenses, supplies for the cats, fostering, and homes for cats.

📍 Race Details

The start and finish line will be in front of Tyrone Armory.

🕒 Timeline of Events

• 6:30 AM: Check in and day of registration will take place at Tyrone Armory.
• Address: 956 S. Logan Ave Tyrone, PA 16686.
• 8:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run starts (Cutoff times for 10K is an hour and a half).
• 9:30 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash).
• Following the 5K/10K: Awards and Closing Ceremony.

📅 Registration Information

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by February 28th to be guaranteed a long sleeve shirt.

• Day of Race Registration: Available only from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM.

Gold Rush 5K/10K Adults (18+):

• Early Registration: $30
• Day of Registration: $35

Gold Rush 5K/10K High School Students (18 years & younger):

• Early Registration: $15
• Day of Registration: $20

Gold Rush Kids Sprint Children 9 & Under:

• Early Registration with long sleeve shirt: $15
• Early Registration with no shirt: FREE
• Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

📦 Additional Information

Registration includes a long sleeve shirt and race goodie bag: Youth S-L & Adult S - 2XL.

⚠️ Cancellation Disclaimer

In the event of a cancellation of Gold Rush Race, all proceeds will be given to the benefactor.

🌧️ Inclement Weather Policy

We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Gold Rush committee. Any updates will be posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
