Phillip's Cottage 5k

Race Overview

• Benefit: All proceeds to benefit Phillip's Cottage, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides transitional housing to women with children who have graduated from Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge.
• Purpose: Funding is used to support the mothers and children who call Phillip's Cottage home, to maintain the house and property, and to cover operational expenses throughout the year.

Date & Time

• Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026.
• Location: Race will begin and end at Phillip’s Cottage located at 217 W. Union St. Minden, LA.
• 5K Start Time: 8:15 am.
• Fun Run Start Time: 8:00 am.

Registration

• Early Registration Fee: $25 registration fee (t-shirt included) until April 7, 2026. No shirt can be guaranteed if registering later than April 7.
• Late Registration Fee: $30 registration fee April 8 through race day.
• Sleep-in Supporters: If you’d like to support this cause and receive a t-shirt without having to break a sweat, you can register as a sleep-in supporter for $30 by April 7, 2026. Your t-shirt will be shipped to the address provided on this form.

Packet & T-shirt Pick-up

• Pick-up Times: You may pick up your racing packet and/or t-shirt at Phillip’s Cottage on Thursday, April 23 from 10 am - 1 pm and Friday, April 24 from 4 pm - 6 pm or race day starting at 7:00 am.

Awards

• Prizes: A cash prize will be given to 1st place overall male & female runners in the 5k.
• Trophies: 1st & 2nd place 5k runners in each age group will receive a trophy.

Special Note

• Allowed Equipment: Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace capacity only.
• Prohibited: Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates, or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!
