Fools Day 5K

Event Overview

Fools Day 5K is a professionally-timed race for participants of all ages and abilities!

Put on a pair of novelty glasses (included with registration) and “Be a Blessing in Disguise” for the 44,303 individuals in St. Lucie County that earn less than what it costs to afford the basic necessities.

Join friends and neighbors to run, jog, or walk through an unforgettable 3.1 mile course filled with fun surprises.

What You Receive

• Chip Timing: All participants will receive chip timing with live results.
• Individual Results Page: Each runner will have access to their own results page.
• Race T-shirt: Participants will receive a race t-shirt.
• Finisher Medal: Every finisher will be awarded a medal!

Purpose of the Event

In addition to helping raise the crucial funds that fuel our mission, your participation will help shine a light on the dark and demoralizing cycle of poverty in St. Lucie County.

The goal of this community-based event is to raise funds and awareness for United Against Poverty of St. Lucie County, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring and empowering people living in poverty to lift themselves and their families to economic self-sufficiency.

Event Schedule

• 6:45 a.m: Onsite Registration and Packet Pickup Begins
• 7:50 a.m: Warm Up
• 8:00 a.m: Race Start
• 8:45 a.m: Awards Ceremony

Awards

• Overall Male: Awarded to the top male finisher.
• Overall Female: Awarded to the top female finisher.
• Overall Youth 12 & under: Awarded to the top youth finisher in this category.
• Overall Senior 60 & over: Awarded to the top senior finisher.

Additionally, awards will be given for:

• Top Youth Boy & Girl: 12 and under
• Top Male & Female: 13-16, 17-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 71-up
