Race Overview
Join us for the 4th annual Wagging Tails on the Trails 5K and 9K Race at Pepper Park Riverside in Fort Pierce on Hutchinson Island!
Date and Time: February 6, 2027, race starts at 8:00 a.m.
Location: 3375 N State Road-A1A, Fort. Pierce, FL.
This is a loop trail that winds through mangroves and beautiful hammocks along the Indian River Lagoon.
Registration Includes
- T-shirt: Included with registration.
- Finisher Medal: Everyone earns a medal.
- Entry: 5k or 9k Run/walk entry.
- Chip Timed: Race bib is chip timed.
- Treats: Finish line treats for fur babies.
Dog Friendly Environment
This race is very dog friendly! Feel free to bring your leashed, four-legged running buddy to enjoy the trail with you.
- Treats: All dogs to cross the finish line receive a treat!
- Water Stations: Water bowls available at the water station and around the expo area.
- Pet Care: Please clean up after your pets and come prepared with poop bags.
- Leash Requirement: Dogs must be leashed at ALL times.
No Shirt/No Medal Option
We have no shirt/ no medal option available. For this option you will just be participating in the race and will not receive the medal or shirt. You can receive an award if you place.
Puppy Dash for Kids
Free Puppy Dash for kids 10 and under. A short fast race that will take place around 9:15. Kids will receive a yummy cupcake when they cross the finish line. Option to purchase a child's shirt for $10 during the registration of the puppy dash.
