Join us for the 3rd annual Wagging Tails on the Trails 5K and 9K Race at Pepper Park Riverside in Fort Pierce on Hutchinson Island!

Event Details

• Date: February 7, 2026
• Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Location: 3375 N State Road-A1A, Fort Pierce, FL
• Trail Description: A flat hard packed loop winding through mangroves and beautiful hammocks along the Indian River Lagoon.
• New Offering: 9K option in support of the K9 unit.

Registration Includes

• T-shirt: All participants will receive a race t-shirt.
• Finisher Medal: Enjoy a medal upon completion of the race.
• Entry: 5k Run/walk entry included in registration.
• Race Bib: Chip timed race bib provided for accurate timing.
• Treats: Finish line treats for fur babies.

Dog Participation Guidelines

• Dog Friendly: This race welcomes leashed four-legged companions!
• Treats for Dogs: All dogs crossing the finish line receive a treat!
• Water Stations: Water bowls will be available at the water station and around the expo area.
• Pet Etiquette: Please clean up after your pets and ensure they are friendly, non-aggressive, and leashed at all times.

No Shirt/No Medal Option

We offer a no shirt/no medal option for participants who wish to run without receiving the medal or shirt, but are still eligible for awards if they place.

Puppy Dash for Kids

• Age Limit: Open to kids 10 and under.
• Event Time: Short fast race will take place around 8:45 a.m.
• Treat for Kids: Participants will receive a yummy cupcake at the finish line.
• Shirt Option: New this year! Option to purchase a child's shirt for $10 during registration for the Puppy Dash.
