Old Town Street Festival 5K

Event Overview

Hosted by the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, the 12th annual Old Town Street Festival 5K takes place in Old Town Leander. This chip-timed event starts in the heart of Old Town and tours through the streets of Leander.

• Course: The course is flat and fast with no hills or rough terrain.
• Participation: This 5K will have limited participation, so sign up early to ensure you can join us for this exciting event.
• Date: June 6, 2026
• Location: 103 N West Dr, Leander, TX

Race Details and Schedule

• Race Time: Saturday June 6, 2026 at 9:00am. (Yes, a new earlier time).
• Chip-Timed: The chip-timed course is mostly flat & fast.
• Start/Finish: The race will begin and finish at Willis and Bagdad in Old Town Leander.
• Items Included: Every 5K entrant will receive a high-quality shirt of their choice and a custom color finisher's medal.

Accessibility

• Stroller Friendly: This is a stroller-friendly race.
• Dog Friendly: The race is dog friendly: all dogs must be on leashes and only friendly dogs are allowed.

Packet Pick Up

• Date: Race packets can be picked up at the Leander Chamber of Commerce June 3-5 from 9-5pm or on the morning of the race starting at 8 am.
• Deadline: All packets must be picked up by June 13th if you are not able to participate and still want a medal.
• Pick Up Address: 103 N. West, Leander, TX 78641.

Prizes

• Awards Ceremony: The 5K awards ceremony will follow the completion of the race.
• First Place: A gold medal will be awarded to the top finisher in each age category (12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over) for male and female.
• Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive a medal as they cross the finish line.

Parking Information

• Parking Availability: Parking is available in the LISD parking lots surrounding Old Town and along the streets of Old Town.
• Directions: For easy access to the lots, follow these directions: From Crystal Falls Parkway, turn onto S. West Drive. Follow S. West Drive North towards Old Town.
• Lot Access: Lots will be on your right and left as you get close to Old Town. These lots are not accessible from 183.
