Trach Families presents Breath of Life 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us to help benefit tracheostomy families in the southeast Tennessee region. The funds raised from this race will allow us the ability to pour into local trach and vent dependent families. Come out to run and walk for fun, beat your personal best in a 5K, or join our families and children for a fun mile. Your entry will include a t-shirt, post race gift and snacks.

👨‍👩‍👦 About Us

Chattanooga Tracheostomy families is a support group working towards becoming a non-profit that cares for families of children with tracheostomies in the Chattanooga area. We do this in a variety of ways:

• Hospital Support: Providing resources and assistance to families during their hospital stays.
• Education: Offering information and support for families to better understand tracheostomy and vent-life.
• Community Engagement: Involving local families in activities that foster connections and support.
• Advocacy: Raising awareness and advocating for the needs of tracheostomy families.

Trach/Vent life is so very life altering, so our group is here to support a family as they transition to this life and join a community of children thriving in life with their traits. We have 50 members in this community and are growing!

🕘 Schedule

• 7:45am-8:45am: Walk-up Registrations & packet pickup
• 9:00am: 5K Begins
• 10:00am: 1 Mile fun run/walk
