🏃♂️ Event Overview
Join the Highland Park Recreation Department and Main Street Highland Park for our 15th annual Highland Park NJ "Run in the Park" 5k race & Kids' Races on Sunday, May 4th! Come take a run, walk, or stroll through the downtown and beautiful neighborhoods of Highland Park NJ for great cause. Race proceeds to benefit the Highland Park Public Schools PTOs.
🗺️ Course Details
- Traffic Closure: The course is closed to traffic during the race.
- Starting Point: Starts on North 5th Ave by the high school.
- Fast Mile: The race heads downhill towards New Brunswick for a fast first mile.
- Historic Streets: Winds through the historic streets of Highland Park before finishing on the high school track.
👦👧 Kids Races
Kids races will take place on the track after the 5k at approximately 10am.
💵 5k Registration
- Pricing: $30 (+ RunSignUp fee) before 3/18.
- Late Registration: $35 (+ RunSignUp fee) from 3/19 to 4/18.
- Final Phase: $40 (+ RunSignUp fee) from 4/18 to 5/3.
- Race Day: Registration will be $45.
Discount: $3 off for USATF members except race day registration.
5k participants will receive a t-shirt while supplies last. T-shirt size is not guaranteed for all registrants.
👦 Kids Race Registration
- Early Bird Pricing: $12 (+ RunSignUp fee) before 4/18.
- Standard Pricing: $14 (+ RunSignUp fee) from 4/18.
- Race Day Pricing: $16 on race day (no additional fees).
