Jefferson County Humane Society 5K Walk/Run

Event Overview

This is the 10th year for our Jefferson County Humane Society 5K walk/run. The money raised during this event will go towards the animals in our community. The race course is challenging, but fun when you bring your best friend along.

Race Details

• GLOW Event: This year, the race will be a GLOW run/walk!
• Start Times: Walkers at 8:00 PM, Runners at 8:15 PM.
• Registration: Opens at 7:30 PM on the day of the event.
• T-Shirt Offer: Free T-shirt with registry only until June 6th.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held on race day from 7:00 PM to the start of the race.

Support Opportunities

• Sponsorship: Can’t make it to the walk/run, but want to help out? Sponsor a dog in the shelter to get to go for a walk/run during the event!
• Donation: Go to the donate button at the top of the page to donate.
• Luminary Purchase: You can also purchase a luminary in honor of, or in memory of, a special pet or a person.
• Luminary Details: The luminaries will have the pet or person's name on them, and they will light the finish line of the course. To purchase a luminary for $10, please click on the "donate" button at the top of the page.
