The Freedom Run 5K will return this year! Join us as we celebrate the 11th year for this race held in Chester, WV on July 4, 2024 at 9:00 am. This event continues to grow each year and we anticipate another great turnout this July!

• RUNNERS/WALKERS WELCOME
• Start and Finish: The race will start and finish at 817 Carolina Avenue in Chester, WV.

📝 Registration Information

• Register online or at: Hancock County Savings Bank and Summit Physical Therapy in Chester.
• Deadline: Registration must be completed no later than June 19, 2024 to be guaranteed a t-shirt. You most likely will not receive a shirt if you register later than this date.
• Cost: Register early by June 19th or the cost of registration goes from $20 to $25. Additional t-shirts will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

📦 Race Packet Pickup

• Location: Race packets/t-shirts can be picked up at Hancock County Savings Bank, Chester WV on July 3rd from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm to avoid waiting in line on race day!
• Encouragement: We strongly encourage early pick-up!

🏆 Awards and Prizes

• Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 runners in each age group and top 3 walkers (males/females).
• Age Groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+, Walker
• Patriotic Prize: Prize for most patriotic participant!

⏰ Race Day Details

• Arrival Time: Participants should plan to arrive no later than 8:15 AM.
• Registration Closure: Registration table will close promptly at 8:45 AM.
