🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: August 16th, 2025
• Location: Bethlehem Community Park, Wheeling, WV
• Activities: A 5K race, Cornhole tournament, raffles, family fun, and food
• Purpose: To honor Caleb Smail's legacy and spread kindness in our community

💰 Proceeds and Beneficiary

• Beneficiary: Youth Services Systems
• Goal: Helping local youth access vital resources and programs
• Support: All funds raised will directly assist youth initiatives
• Impact: Contributing to community welfare through this event

📏 Course Details

• Well-Marked: Course will be clearly marked with volunteers at all turns
• Starting Point: Begins near the playground at the Community Park
• Route: Includes Oak Drive circle and Chapel Road
• Turning Points: Volunteers will guide runners at turnaround locations

👕 T-Shirt and Registration

• T-Shirt Deadline: Register by August 1st to guarantee your Race Shirt!
• Early Bird Pricing: Available until March 31st
• Race Time: Starts promptly at 9am!
• Make Memories: Join us to spread kindness in honor of Caleb’s life

🏅 Awards and Categories

• 5K Run: Top 3 Overall – Male/Female
• Age Groups: 1-29, 30-49, 50-59, 60 & over
• 5K Walk: Top 3 Overall – Male/Female
• Walk Categories: 1-49, 50-59, 60 & over

🚶‍♂️ 5K Walk Rules

• Walking Requirement: You must walk the entire distance for the 5K Walk
• Definition: One foot must be on the ground at all times
• Violations: Sprinting, running, jogging, or trotting will be considered cheating
• Enforcement: Participants may be moved to the run division without a refund
