Ogden Newspapers WVU Medicine Wellness Weekend

Event Overview

The 49th annual Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic Run and Walk will be on Saturday, May 29. This challenging course is well known for its changes in elevation. The Half Marathon Run and Walk will have prize categories (for male and female) for the Open division.

• Participants Receive: Race towels, bottled water and fresh fruit.
• Food Voucher: Participants will receive one food voucher.
• Shirts: Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a shirt.
• Medals: Official race medals will be given to each finisher.

PACKET PICKUP IS AT WESBANCO ARENA (LOBBY), 2 14th St, Wheeling, WV 26003.

• 12:00-6:00 PM: Packet Pickup for Half Marathon, 5K, Fun Run, & Tiny Tot Trot.

Saturday, May 29, 2027

• 6:00-8:00 AM: Packet Pickup for Half Marathon, 5K, & Fun Run, & Tiny Tot Trot.
• 7:10 AM: Half Marathon Run Starts.
• 7:12 AM: Half Marathon Walk Starts.
• 12:00 PM: Recovery Party End.

• Master Awards: Top 3 Overall Master Male & Female.
• Grand Master Awards: Top 3 Overall Grand Master Male & Female.
• Age Group Awards: 19-under to 80-over, top 3 Male & Female.

Half Marathon Walk:

• Top Awards: Top 3 Overall Male & Female.
• Age Group Awards: 19-under to 80-over, top 3 Male & Female.

5K Run:

• Top Awards: Top 3 Overall Male & Female.
