LASAA Mug Run - LASD Altadena Sheriff Station

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

LASAA’s mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie.

📅 Mug Run History

• Inception: The Mug Run series started in 1993.
• Participants: The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners.
• Growth: Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public.
• Current Attendance: Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.

🤝 Community Engagement

The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.

💲 Pricing Information

• Early Registration: Race day pricing increases to $40 so make sure to sign up early.
• T-shirt: Each runner will receive a T-shirt on race day.

🚗 Parking Information

• Nearby Locations: Parking will be across street at Rite-Aid, Altadena Community Center, or street parking.
