Blue Hope Colon Cancer Awareness 5K Walk or Run

Welcome to the 6th Annual Blue Hope Colon Cancer Awareness 5K

We are excited to invite you to the 6th Annual Blue Hope Colon Cancer Awareness 5K! Join us on Saturday, April 4th, at Miramar Regional Park! The 5K is a chipped-timed race. Awards will be provided to the top 3 overall and age groups. We encourage you to wear blue for the cause!

Register as a group of 5 and get $15 off at checkout, or gather a group of 10 to save $30.

Proceeds Support

The proceeds from this event will support two essential programs of We Stand Together, Inc (WST). The WST Financial Assistance Program provides emergency funding to help cover living expenses for cancer patients undergoing active treatment. Additionally, the Natalie Marc Surpris Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to undergraduate college students who are battling cancer themselves or have a parent affected by cancer or who has passed away due to the disease.

Event Details

• Finisher Medals: Included in the registration fee.
• Race Bibs: Provided to all participants.
• T-shirts: Included in the registration fee.

Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 a.m. - Registration/Check-in and Packet Pick-up
• 7:00 a.m. - Opening Ceremony and race warm-up session with a fitness instructor and DJ
• 7:30 a.m. - 5K Race begins (Timed Race option is Available)
• 8:30 a.m. - Award Ceremony

Activities

There will be a children's corner with entertainment, fun field events for all participants, food/health vendors, and more.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up

We encourage you to pick up your race bib and t-shirt before race day, on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
