Babcock Ranch is excited to announce our inaugural Love on the Run 5K Run/Walk. The Love on the Run 5K Run/Walk at Babcock Ranch is a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, combining a scenic course with a fun, festive atmosphere.

📅 Important Dates

• Shirt Cutoff Date: February 5, 2026. Shirts ARE NOT guaranteed after this date.
• Early Packet Pickup: Thursday, February 12th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, February 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Pickup Location: Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Race Day Registration: 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., cost is $40.00.

🚗 Race Day Details

• Race Day Parking: Free ample parking is available near the starting area.
• Race Day Packet Pickup: 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at Bluebird Park, 16050 Babcock Trail, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Race Start Time: 8:00 a.m.
• Post-Race: Snacks and awards will be provided.

🏆 Awards

• Age Group Awards: Based on off-chip time.
• Overall Awards: There will be overall awards and finisher medals.
• Actual Awards: 1st Place Overall Awards: Male & Female.
• Additional Awards: In-person awards to the top three M/F in various age groups.

• Is this a timed race? Yes, the 5K is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
• Is there an untimed fun run? Yes, the untimed fun run will start with the timed 5K.
• What is the course surface like? The course is paved roads and sidewalks.
• Are dogs allowed on the course? You may run with your dog but must assume ALL responsibility.
