El Paso Sunrise Series - III

🌅 Race Overview

• Registration: Opening February 2025!
• Introduction: Lace Up El Paso is proud to introduce the Inaugural El Paso Sunrise Series!
• Events: FIVE - 5k’s ran throughout the city of El Paso!
• Purpose: Events aim to provide scholarships to El Paso Community College Cross Country athletes.

🏅 What You Get

• Medal: Custom El Paso Sunrise Series Medal for all registered participants!
• Event Completion: Complete all FIVE events to complete your El Paso Sunrise Medal! (Virtual options available - mailing fees apply).
• Discount: Register for ALL five LIVE events and receive a $35 discount! (No added discount for virtual events).
• Giveaways: Each event will have its own unique giveaway!!!

🏆 Awards

• Age Group Awards: Top Three Finishers in each Age Group at each live event.
• Custom Awards: For the OVERALL Fastest Males and Females (1st, 2nd, 3rd) of the Series!
• Team Awards: Awards for the LARGEST Teams (1st, 2nd, 3rd) of the series!
• Virtual Events: No awards for virtual events.

🎖 Strava Crowns

• Segments: Each event will have Strava segments up for grabs!
• Challenge: Find the segments, Lace Up and earn that crown!

🎉 Post-Race Festivities

• Runner's Party: At all events: Vendors, music, water, popsicles.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: Packet Pickup location and time, TBD.
• No Race Day Pickup: There will be no race day packet pickup.
• Contact: If traveling or to make arrangements for pick up, please contact race director.

⚙️ Race Day Information

• Registration: Race Day Registration will be available on RunSignUp.com, but ends sharply at 6:15am, no exceptions.
• Schedule: 5:30am – 10am.
• Tentative Schedule:
  • 5:30 – 6:15 Vendor setup.
  • 6:15 Race Day registration closes.
  • 6:30 – 6:45 Announcements, Warm Up and National Anthem.
  • 6:45 5k Start!
  • 8:00 Kids dash!
  • 8:30 Awards Ceremony!
  • 9:30 Event ends. Clean up and Vendor area clearing.
  • 10:00 Event area cleared.

♿ Accessibility

• Course: We welcome wheelchairs, & strollers out on the course.
• Restrictions: No bicycles, roller blades/skates, skateboards, wagons, scooters, motorized or electric devices.
• Pets: We are absolutely pet friendly! (Pets must be on a leash both on and off the course.)
