About the Event

• History: 47th running of Montgomery's Jubilee Run.
• Features: Competitive runs/walk on an 8K USATF certified course and the Peggy Lanier 2-Mile.
• Championship: Designated as the Alabama 8K State Championship by the RRCA.
• Charity: This year’s event will raise funds for the Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches.

Race Information

• Courses: The USATF 8K certified course will be well marked: both courses go through historic downtown Montgomery.
• Aid Stations: Water stations will be located along the courses.
• Traffic Control: Provided by the Montgomery Police Department.
• Chip Timing: Both runs are chip timed: awards are based on race gun time per USATF Rule 245.1.

Awards

• 8K Awards: Unique awards for Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, and various age groups.
• 2-Mile Awards: Unique awards for Overall and multiple age groups.
• Note: No duplication of awards!
• Ages: Age groups span from 5-9 to 75+.

Race Packets

• Pick-up Location: Old Alabama Town (301 Columbus Street).
• Available Times: May 15th (3 - 6 p.m.) and race day from 6:00 a.m. until 7:15 a.m.
• Contents: Official race number and Jubilee Run shirts.
• Note: Packets will only be available for registered runners.

Race Numbers

• Visibility: Must be worn visibly on the front of the runner during the race.
• Disqualification: Failing to do so can result in disqualification.

Results

• Posting: Race results will be posted on the RunSignUp website and the Montgomery Jubilee Run Facebook page.
• Notification: Individual results can be sent to your cellphone/email if selected at registration.

Notices

• Shirt Notice: Pre-registration by 5/7/26 is required for a guaranteed event shirt.
• Leftover Shirts: Available at packet pick-up on a first come first served basis.
• Cancellation Statement: Event occurs rain or shine: no refunds in case of cancellation.
