Kick off 2025 with the 6th Annual Mangum Marathon & Half Marathon.

• Location: Intersection of Carthage Creek Road and Holly Grove Church Road outside of Ellerbe, NC

• Time Limits: 7-hour for marathon, 5-hour for half marathon

• Timed Events: Both events will be timed
• Finisher Medals: Everyone gets a Finisher Medal!
• Custom Awards: Engraved Tumblers to overall Male/Female
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Male/Female in various age groups

📍 Course Information

• Start Location: The Dog Pen area, outside of Ellerbe, NC
• Course Layout: 2 miles out, 11.1 miles turnaround
• Unique Challenge: Famous climb to Bethel Church at the 22-mile mark
• 1/2 Marathon Details: Turnaround at the 6.55 mile mark

• Minimal Support: The course will have minimal support: please come equipped
• Water Drops: Bottled water drop spots and two manned water stops
• Shirts: Long sleeve 1/4 zip Technical shirt for all participants
• Processing Time: Race shirts and medals may require processing time for registrations after 1/6
