🍫 Race Cancellation Notice

• Cancellation Announcement: We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen weather conditions over the last few weeks and lower-than-anticipated enrollment, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Sweet Mile 1-Mile Race originally scheduled for February 1, 2025.
• Participant Safety: The safety and enjoyment of our participants are always our top priorities, and with the current circumstances, we believe this decision is in everyone’s best interest.
• Refund Information: For those who have already registered, we will be issuing full refunds. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us.
• Future Events: We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you at future events. Thank you for your support of the community cares project and our community programs.

• Date: February 1, 2025, starting at 9:00 am
• Location: 4041 University Dr, Fairfax, VA 22030
• Course: A scenic, family-friendly 1 mile course filled with chocolate-themed surprises.
• Who Can Participate: Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or a chocolate enthusiast, this race is for everyone!

🍬 Finish Line Treats

• Treats for Participants: Participants will enjoy a chocolate treat at the finish line.
• Prizes: Opportunities to win prizes are available.
• Community Support: Proceeds from the race will directly benefit local charities and organizations supported by the Chocolate Lover's Festival.
• Registration Information: Don’t miss out on this delightful combination of fitness, fun, and chocolate!

💰 Registration Fees

• Pre-race Fee: $25 through January 31
• Race Day Fee: $30 on February 1
• All Participants: All participants will receive a commemorative Beanie.
• Packet Pick-Up: Friday, January 31, at the PR Fairfax Store (11895 Grand Commons Ave, Fairfax, VA 22030) from 4-7pm: Saturday near the start line starting at 8:00 am.

• First Heat: 9:00 am - Runners/Racers - estimated finish time, 8 min. or faster
• Second Heat: 9:20 am - Joggers, Fun Run - estimated finish time 8-12 minutes
• Third Heat: 9:40 am - Walkers, Family Fun Run - estimated finish 12-20 minutes
