Georgetown Half Marathon

The Georgetown Half is a full charity race held along on the historic C&O Canal Towpath two miles west of Georgetown in Washington DC. All net proceeds will support girls' education in Kenya and the rural Himalayas of Nepal.

Highlights

• Finisher Medals: Great finisher Medals for first 250 finishers.
• Race Shirts: Sweat-wicking race shirts for all participants.
• Post-Race Fun: DJ music and awards to follow the race at Fletcher's Boat House!
• Refreshments: Light refreshments, bananas, power bars, bagels, water, Gatorade, and coffee for all runners at lower level.

Race Environment

• Scenic Route: Beautiful time of year along the Potomac River in Washington, D.C.
• Historic Trail: The trail runs along the scenic historic C&O Canal!
• Parking: Free parking on site.
• Community Support: Thanks to the awesome running community, military, our sponsors, volunteers, and fans for supporting this great race!

Event Details and Schedule

• Packet Pick-Up: We really appreciate all runners supporting girls' education in Kenya and Nepal with a tax-deductible contribution! Thank you!
• Friday, November 14th: From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at PACERS, 1079 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20007.
• Saturday, November 15th: Early check-in from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM, on site at Fletcher's Cove lower level boathouse, 4940 Canal Road NW, Washington DC.
• Race Date: November 15, 2025.
