Georgetown Half Marathon
The Georgetown Half is a full charity race held along on the historic C&O Canal Towpath two miles west of Georgetown in Washington DC. All net proceeds will support girls' education in Kenya and the rural Himalayas of Nepal.
Highlights
- Finisher Medals: Great finisher Medals for first 250 finishers.
- Race Shirts: Sweat-wicking race shirts for all participants.
- Post-Race Fun: DJ music and awards to follow the race at Fletcher's Boat House!
- Refreshments: Light refreshments, bananas, power bars, bagels, water, Gatorade, and coffee for all runners at lower level.
Race Environment
- Scenic Route: Beautiful time of year along the Potomac River in Washington, D.C.
- Historic Trail: The trail runs along the scenic historic C&O Canal!
- Parking: Free parking on site.

- Saturday, November 15th: Early check-in from 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM, on site at Fletcher's Cove lower level boathouse, 4940 Canal Road NW, Washington DC.
