🏃‍♂️ The JC Valentine Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1 MILER

The JC Valentine's Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1 MILER takes place in Lincoln Park, a place that is not only historic, it’s beautiful!!! We are proud and excited to hold the inaugural Valentine's running event to support an incredible non-profit organization, Sustainable Jersey City, and their new YOUTH TRACK TEAM, The Presidential Sharks.

• Address: 1 Lincoln Park, Jersey City, NJ 07304 (Water Fountain)

🏁 Course Details

• Half Marathon: 4 loops of a 3.27 mile course
• 10K: 2 loops of a 1.55 mile course
• 5K: 1 loop of a 1.55 mile course
• 1 MILER: 1 Loop around picturesque lake

💧 Water Stations

• Frequency: Water stations about every 1.5 - 2 miles along the course.
• Available: Besides water, there will be Gatorade and gels.

⏱️ Timing

• Live Timing: Including a split per loop!
• Photos and Videos: Will be uploaded the day of the event.

👕 Technical T-shirt & Bib

• Shirts: Male & Female cuts: A4 Technical Running Shirts for each participant.
• Bib: Personalized bib (must register 4 weeks prior) commemorative bib thereafter.

🏅 Finishers Medal & Awards

• Medal: Die Cast Medal with full-color ribbon.
• Awards: Awards/Plaques for Top 3 overall Male and Female (All distances).
• Half Distance: Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 14-19, 20-24 until 75-79.
• 10K & 5K: Awards/Plaques for Top 3 Age Groups Male and Female 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39 until 70 & Over.

🍕 Food & Beverages

• Post Race Food: Bagels, cream cheese spreads, organic jelly, and peanut butter.

The Presidential Sharks Elite program began with a simple but ambitious goal: to shape young athletes into disciplined, respectful individuals both on and off the field. Our mission has always been about more than football. It’s about building leaders, teaching life lessons, and creating opportunities that leave a lifelong impact.

🕒 Race Day Packet Pick-up

• Time: 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. NEW TIME IS 10:00 AM
• Requirements: Bring picture I.D.
• Packet: You will receive a bib with a timing chip attached to it.

🧳 Baggage Check-in

• Time: 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m
• Tag: Your bib will have a tear-off tag that you will pin to your personal bag.
• Retrieval: You need to show the matching bib to retrieve your bag from the secure area.

🏃‍♀️ Race Start Times

• Start Time: (Half, 10K, 5K): 9:30 a.m. NEW START TIME IS 11:00 AM
• Preliminary Results: Posted at around 10:30 a.m.
• Awards Ceremony: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
• 1 MILER: Starts at 11:30 AM.
