Fleet Feet Fort Wayne Community Pantry Ruck Run/ Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

On Sunday Feb 8th, 2026, Fleet Feet Fort Wayne will be hosting a Community Pantry Ruck Run & Walk as an act of solidarity, not charity. We are asking the community to come together and help fill the Local Forward Indiana Community Pantries with non-perishable Food items and supplies. These community pantries are designed to provide 24/7 access to free food. They are community sustaining and are available for anyone and everyone in need.

🎒 Participation Details

• Backpack Requirement: Please fill a backpack large or small with non-perishable food items and necessities.
• Running/Walking: As a group or individually, you will run or walk a course specially designed by Fleet Feet to various Community Food Pantry Locations.
• Food Donation: Take 1-2 non-perishable food items out of your backpack and place them in each Community Food Pantry.
• Map Navigation: Continue to follow the map going to each pantry designated and gradually emptying your backpack of food items.

🏪 Pantry Information

There will be eight pantries to fill: your backpack should contain approximately 18 non-perishable food items (2 per community food pantry cabinet).

🍽️ Post-Event Brunch

We will start and finish at Bravas Restaurant, 3416 Fairfield Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46807-1823. After the Ruck Run, you are welcomed to join us at Bravas for Brunch. FYI, make sure to bring extra cash for the brunch, brunch is on you.

🏆 Awards and Raffle

We will be awarding prizes and there will be a raffle after the Ruck Run/Walk.
