Event Overview

• Organizer: The Greater North Central Florida Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
• Date: February 28, 2026
• Location: Depot Park, Gainesville, FL
• Check-in: Begins at 8 am: Event runs from 9 am - 12 pm

Purpose

• Established: The Pink and Blue 5K Run & Walk was established in 2025.
• Fundraising: Last year, raised approximately $6000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
• Focus: This year, targeting youth literacy development through Kut Different.
• Support: Kut Different provides mentorship and tools for adolescent boys to succeed.

Participation Options

• PINK & BLUE RUN/WALK: Join us in person at Depot Park for the 5K Run & Walk.
• VIRTUAL RUN/WALK: Register online and complete your walk or run any time leading up to the event.
• FUN RUN: Children ages 10 and under can join our Fun Run without a registration fee but need to secure sponsors.
• Distance Certification: Children should document sponsorships and distances on February 28th.

Donation Information

• Tax Deductible Donations: Can be made via the GiveEffect online platform.
• Mail Donations: Checks can be made to Jack and Jill of America Foundation and mailed to GNCFC Jack and Jill of America, Inc.: P.O. Box 771771: Ocala, FL 34477.
• Sponsorship Contributions: Should be submitted by March 6th via the GiveEffect website.
• User-friendly Option: Alternatively, payments can be made to the child's parent for check submission.

• T-Shirt Offer: Participants who register for the in-person 5K Run & Walk by Feb. 14th will receive a free t-shirt.
