🎆 4th of July Celebration

• Event: Start the 4th of July celebrations right!
• Format: 5K & Breakfast!
• Activities: Run, walk, or skip a 5K on a beautiful Wilson Creek.
• Location: Start & Finish at The Stix Icehouse + breakfast is included!

🍳 Breakfast and Beverages

• Complimentary: Have a beer or mimosa and breakfast on us before you head out to the Parade!

🏠 Hosting Venue

• Where: The Stix Icehouse, 301 Eldorado Pkwy #100, McKinney, TX 75069

🚗 Parking Information

• Options: The short answer is.... ANYWHERE!
• Facilities: We have multiple parking lots around The Stix.

🏃 The Run

• Course: 5K and 1M Fun Run on a Wilson Creek Trail.
• Hydration: 2 water stops will be provided on the 5K course.

🎁 The Swag

• Breakfast Pass: All American breakfast and beer or mimosa for those over 21 years of age (must be 21 bring I.D.).
• Firecracker 5K T-shirt: They are awesome but runners who wait until the last minute to register may not receive the size they want.
• Finisher Medal: All participants receive a finisher medal.

💻 Virtual Race

• Inclusions: Virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal via mail during the week after the race.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Early Pickup: Thursday, July 3rd, 12pm-6pm at The Stix Icehouse.
• Race Day Pickup: July 4, 2025, 7:15am - 8:15am at the race site.

🗓️ Race Day Schedule

• 7:15am - 8:15am: Late packet pickup and registration (if not sold out).
• 8:25am: Canine Costume Contest Winner Announced.
• 8:30am: 5K starts (no late starts will be allowed).
• 9:30am: Awards Ceremony (Must be present to receive awards: awards cannot be mailed).

⚠️ Course Notes

• Music Policy: The use of personal music devices during the race is strongly discouraged.
• Safety: Safety has always been, and will continue to be, a top priority.
• Rules: Per USATF safety rules and insurance, no pets are allowed on the 5K and 10K course.
• Age Requirement: Minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6 and no minimum age for the 1-mile.

🏆 Awards

• 5K Awards: Top Finisher Overall Male and Female.
• Masters: Top Finisher Masters & Grand Masters Male and Female.
• Age Groups: 3 Top Male and Female Finishers in Age Groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, etc.
• Fun Run: 1M fun run is not timed, no awards, just fun.
