SeaWorld San Diego's Fins & Flippers 5K

🏃‍♂️Race Overview

Calling all runners! Attention all SeaWorld enthusiasts! For the first time ever, land will meet sea with our inaugural Fins and Flippers 5K on April 13th.

Whether you’re running or strolling along the course, this exciting 3.1-mile route will guide you through the scenic grounds of SeaWorld San Diego, passing by your favorite animals and exhibits. Throughout the course will be beautiful views of Mission Bay, ocean-inspired surprises, photo ops with aquatic themes, and lively, sea-inspired characters!

👶Kids 1K Fun Run

In addition to the 5K Run, we're excited to offer the Kids 1K Fun Run – the perfect opportunity for little ones to join in on the oceanic adventure.

• Official Race Gear: Every participant will receive an official race shirt, a race bib with a timing chip, and a unique finisher medal.
• Awards: Participants will have a chance to qualify for special sea-worthy awards.

🎭Costume Contest

Costumes are encouraged—so get creative and dress up in your best fins, flippers, or SeaWorld-inspired oceanic attire for a day filled with fun, waves of excitement, and memories to last a lifetime. (Please note: masks are not permitted for this event.)

🏆Prizes

• Overall Winners: Top three overall finishers (male, female, and nonbinary) will receive two single day tickets to SeaWorld San Diego and a $150 Gift Certificate to Road Runner Sports.
• Age Division Awards: Plus, top three male and female finishers in each age division will receive two single day tickets to SeaWorld San Diego.
