39th Annual Strawberry Stride May 10, 2025

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The 39th Annual Strawberry Stride is a 5K race that supports athletes at Portland High School.
• Start & End: The event starts and ends at Portland High School.
• Elevation: The race is relatively flat with only a slight elevation during the first 1/4 mile and on the last part of the race.
• Race Times: 8am for the 5K and 1 mile races: Kids Fun Run starts at 8:45am.

👶 Race Categories

• 5K Categories: Start at 10 years of age and increase in 5 year increments.
• 1 Mile Age Groups: Middle school, high school, and adult.
• Fun Runs: Are Pre-K/K through 5th grade.
• Community Event: The races are one part of an all-day community event, The Strawberry Festival, which culminates in a parade later in the afternoon.

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Ends on May 9, 2025, at 11:59 a.m.
• Shirt Guarantee: Registration must be completed by April 18, 2025.

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Parking: Participants should park on the west side of PHS and enter the building on the west side.
• Packet Pickup: Pre-registration pick-up will be in the gym lobby starting at 7:30.
• Starting Line: Race starting line is on the east side of the building.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Participants should register by midnight, Friday, April 18, 2025, to guarantee receipt of an event t-shirt.
