📜 History of the Event

• Founded: Greta’s Run was started in 2012 in memory of Greta Schoenemann
• Legacy: Greta, a Westfield High School freshman, tragically lost her life in 2002
• Support: The run continues with the support of Imagine and the Schoenemann family
• Impact: Last year the event raised over $250,000 for Imagine’s programs

❤️ About Imagine

• Mission: Provide free peer grief support for children and families
• Statistics: 151,000 children in NJ experience the loss of a parent or sibling before age 18
• Focus: Transforming grief into resilience, empathy, and compassion
• Services: Includes support groups, grief education, and on-site support

• Location: Fleet Feet Westfield
• Dates:
  • Friday, May 15th: 4 - 7 PM
  • Saturday, May 16th: 9 - 1 PM (opening an hour early)
• Race Day Pickup: Available starting at 7:45 AM
