Event Details

• Description: Organized by the MD District 15 Democratic Caucus in Montgomery County, this annual 5K (3.1-mile) timed run/walk event welcomes adults and youth.
• Purpose: Promote community engagement and voter participation in Montgomery County and the State of Maryland.
• Atmosphere: Enjoy great music and meet your Maryland elected officials!
• Participation: All athletic levels are welcome: don't miss out and register today!

Pre-Race and Race Day Schedule

• Pep Rally: Arrive at 9:15 AM for the pre-race pep rally led by Maryland Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller!
• Guest Officials: Cong. Jamie Raskin and Cong. April Delaney are expected to attend with your Maryland elected officials!
• Warm-Up: Morning stretch will be led by StretchLab Gaithersburg.
• Race Start: The race will start promptly at 10:00 AM!

Participation Benefits

• Race Kit: All registered race participants will receive a race timing bib, race t-shirt (while supplies last), and race packet.
• Water Station: A water station will be located at the 1.5 mile marker.
• Awards: Medals will be awarded to top finishers!
• Finish Line Snacks: Enjoy water, granola bars, and bananas for all racers at the finish line!
