MoCo Dems 5K Fall Fun Run

MoCo Dems 5K Fall Fun Run is organized by the MD District 15 Democratic Caucus in Montgomery County, Maryland. This is an annual 5K (3.1mile) timed run/walk event for adults and youth that will be held at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, MD on Sunday Sept. 27, 2026. This outdoor, fun and healthy gathering is to promote community engagement and voter participation in Montgomery County and our beautiful State of Maryland. Event Details

• Date: September 27, 2026
• Location: Agricultural History Farm Park, Derwood, MD
• Time: Arrive at 9:15 AM for the pre-race pep rally
• Start Time: Race starts promptly at 10:00 AM

Special Guests

• Maryland Lt. Gov.: Aruna Miller will lead the pre-race pep rally!
• Congressional Representatives: Cong. Jamie Raskin and Cong. April DeLaney expected to attend.
• Morning Stretch: Led by StretchLab Gaithersburg!

Participant Information

• Included: Race timing bib, race t-shirt (while supplies last), and race packet.
• Water Station: Located at the 1.5 mile marker.
• Awards: Medals will be awarded to top finishers!
• Post-Race Snacks: Water, granola bars, and bananas for all racers at the finish line.
