Oklahoma Steps Against Skin Cancer

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: Oklahoma Steps Against Skin Cancer is a 5K Run or Walk and 1 mile Dot-to-Dot Kid Trot/Family Walk supporting those who have or have had skin cancer.
• Date: Saturday, May 17, 2025.
• Location: Eagle Trail on the campus of Oklahoma Christian University.
• Beneficiary: Funds from the event will be donated to The Skin Cancer Foundation.

🕘 Schedule

• One Mile Walk Start: 9 am.
• 5K Start: 9:30 am.
• Registration: Walk-up registration will be accepted until 9 am on race day.
• Check-in: Only 5K participants will receive a bib and will need to check-in beforehand.

🗓️ Packet Pickup

• 5K Packet Pickup: Friday, May 16 from 3:30-5:30 pm at the SSM Dermatology Center of Excellence, 9720 N. Broadway Extension Service Road, Oklahoma City.
• Check-in: Starts at 8 am, Saturday, May 17 at the Memorial Road Church of Christ parking lot adjacent to the Eagle Trail.
• Kid Trot Arrival: Those participating in the one mile event will need to arrive by 8:45 am.
• Shirt Pickup: One mile participants do not need to check-in unless to pick up a pre-ordered/pre-paid shirt.

🏅 Awards and Extras

• Timing: OK Runner will time the 5K runners.
• Awards: Medals will be awarded to the top 20 males and top 20 females.
• Food Truck: Tasty Snow food truck will be present, and participants can get $1 off all purchases with their race bibs or by voting for “Best Team Name.”
• Shirts: UPF high performance long sleeve shirts will be available for purchase for $15.
