🏅 Race Details

• 5K Race: Timed with prizes for the top three runners in each gender and first place finisher in each age category.
• Prizes: Winners will be recognized shortly after the race finish.
• 5K Route: View the 5K route here.
• Shirt Sizes: Not guaranteed if you register after June 10th.

👨‍👩‍👦 Family Run

• 1K Family Run: Fun for the whole family.
• Pricing: $5 for kids 13 and under, $10 for participants over 13, shirt not included.
• Registration: Option to add a shirt at the time of registration.
• Start Location: Both races start at Edmonds City Park, finish line is at 4th and Main.

🏆 Challenges and Competitions

• Beat Ol' Man Brackett: Compete against a costumed runner portraying a legendary founder of Edmonds.
• Bragging Rights: First 25 people in the 5K to beat him earn bragging rights and a prize!
• Costume Contest: Showcase your patriotic spirit in red, white, and blue for a chance to win prizes!
• Event Spirit: Celebrate Independence Day with community fun.

📅 Race Schedule

• July 2: Pre-race packet pickup at Edmonds Chamber Log Cabin at 120 5th Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
• July 4: Registration and packet pickup opens at 8:00am.
• Events:
  • 9:00am - Costume contest
  • 9:30am - 1K Start
  • 9:45am - 5K start
  • 10:30am - Awards at finish line
  • 11:00am - Kids Parade starts
  • 12:00pm - Main Parade starts
