Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual jogger, this event is perfect for everyone. Stick around after the race to enjoy the Edmonds 4th of July Parade and keep the celebration going.

Event Highlights

• Community Focus: This year, the emphasis is on parade and community fun.
• Proceeds: All proceeds benefit the Chamber's programming and events in Edmonds.
• Timed Race: The 5K is timed with prizes for the top three runners in each gender.
• Age Categories: Prizes for the first place finisher in each age category.

1K Family Run

• Pricing: $5 for kids 13 and under: $10 for participants over 13.
• Shirts: T-shirt is not included in the price but can be added during registration.
• Untimed: This race is untimed and meant for family fun.
• Ages: Open for all family members!

Senior Saunter

• Special Event: A 1K race designed specifically for seniors.
• Pacing: Participants can enjoy this distance at their own pace.
• Untimed: Just like the Family Run, this race is also untimed.
• Friends: Bring your friends for a lovely day out!

Race Details

• Start Location: Both races start at Edmonds City Park.
• Finish Line: The finish line is located at 4th and Main.
• Scenic Route: The 5K winds through downtown Edmonds and Woodway.
• Parade Route: Finish along the Edmonds 4th of July parade route!

Beat Ol’ Man Brackett!

For the swift runners, race against a costumed runner portraying one of Edmonds' legendary founders. The first 50 people to beat him to the finish line will earn bragging rights and a prize!

Win VIP Parade Seats!

Register before June 10th for a chance to win four VIP seats in the parade viewing area. Winner announced at Packet Pickup on July 2: presence not required to win.

Costume Contest

Show your patriotism! Come dressed in red, white, and blue for a chance to win prizes in the 4th of July Costume Contest before the race begins.

Registration Information

Sign up today and be part of this festive tradition! Note that shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after June 10th. Strollers are allowed, but dogs or pets are not.

Schedule

• July 2: Pre-race packet pickup at Edmonds Chamber Log Cabin, 120 5th Ave N, Edmonds, WA 98020 (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM).
• July 4: Registration & packet pickup from 8:00 AM, with pre-race activities starting at that time.
• Costume Contest: 9:00 AM.
• Race Starts: 1K Family Fun Run starts at 9:30 AM, Senior Saunter at 9:35 AM, and the 5K at 9:45 AM.
• Awards: 10:30 AM at the finish line.
• Parades: Kids Parade at 11:30 AM, Main Parade at 12:00 PM.
