📅 Important Information

• Packet Pickup: We will only have race bib and shirt pickup on race day. Please arrive by 7:30 AM at the latest to pick up your bib.
• Parking: The Grove MGM has been given special permission to use River Paws Pet Resort's parking for our event. Please see the map on this site and follow the signature the morning of the race to locate the lots.

Join us to welcome The Grove MGM to the Montgomery community! The Grove supports young women transitioning out of Foster Care in Alabama. They provide dignified, affordable housing and support to bridge the gap between the foster care system and independence. Your participation and/or donation contributes to the final phase of renovation of the building and goes towards sponsoring the future young women who will call The Grove their home. 🏙️ Race Day Details

On Saturday, 26 April 2025 we will have a fun run/walk starting and ending at The Grove MGM at 559 S Hull. The 5K will begin at 8 AM, but please arrive by 7:30 AM to get pumped up for the fun!! The run/walk will take runners and walkers through the historic streets of downtown Montgomery. Along the course, you will see:

• Alabama State Capitol: A prominent landmark.
• Rosa Parks Bus Stop: Significant historical site.
• Court Square Fountain: A lovely area to pause.
• The National Memorial for Peace and Justice: Important reminder of history.

🍽️ Post-Race Celebration

After completing the 5K, stay and fellowship with other members of your community in The Grove's lovely outdoor gathering area, and take a tour of the newly renovated, beautifully-designed future home of young women who have aged out of the foster care program in our community. We will have coffee, snacks, and a food truck. Bring the family for this meaningful day of restoration.

All participants can take home with them a special token of appreciation saying "I ran for the Grove"!
