PINK OUT 5K &: 1 MILE Race Description
Event Overview
- Celebrate: Join us to celebrate the 13th Annual PINK OUT 5K & 1 MILE as we run into October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
- Community Event: Our PINK OUT is a community-based, family-friendly FUNdraising event to support our worthy mission!
- Participation: Register today and join us in person for our 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk on September 26, 2026!
- Virtual Participation: Can't join us in person? Join us as a virtual participant September 26 - October 3!
Why Participate?
- Statistics: 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
- Get Involved: Get your PINK ON and help us get fit, give back, and honor those we love! No one fights alone!
- Team Participation: Participants can create individual or team race and fundraiser pages during the registration process.
- Prizes: Prizes for the team captain for the largest company team, largest individual team and team with the most money raised, as well as the individual with the most money raised as of 9am on Saturday, September 26!
In-Person Race Details
- Location: George Peake and Ann Peake Cross Country Trail at First Presbyterian Day School: 5671 Calvin Dr. Macon, GA 31210
- Time: 9:00 am
- Race Options: 5K run/walk (chip-timed or un-timed) OR 1 mile family fun run/walk
- Packet Pickup: Advance on September 24th from 3:00-6:00pm and September 25th from 9:00am-12:00pm. Race Day: September 26th from 7:30am-8:30am at race site.
Registration Costs
- Before August 31: $30 per person prior to August 31, 2026, at 11:59pm
- After September 1: $35 per person after September 1, 2026 (t-shirt not guaranteed)
- SWAG Awards: Overall top male and female finishers, Top 3 finishers in male and female age groups.
- Incentives: Race Shirt, electronic chip timing for 5K, and post-race refreshments.
Post Race Events
- Awards: Celebrating achievements and recognizing top participants.
- Survivor Celebration: Honoring breast cancer survivors and their journeys.
Virtual Race Details
- Date: Virtual participation from September 26 - October 3, 2026.
- Your Pace: Walk or run wherever you please, pick your date, choose your course!
- Gather Your Team: Include kids, dogs, friends, coworkers - however you want to participate!
- RaceJoy: A free interactive app for tracking progress through mobile devices.
