🏆 Warrior Foundation Events Fundraiser for Childhood Cancer

Join us on August 29, 2025, at 4401 Peak Dr, Loves Park, IL for an impactful event! To kickoff Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Warrior Crucible is a 24-hour fundraising event held annually on Labor Day weekend. The Warrior Crucible consists of three individual fitness challenges. Participants will receive one t-shirt along with an individual Warrior Foundation patch for each event completed. Participants who complete all three events during the 24-hour event will earn the exclusive Crucible patch! See our website for additional event information: Warrior Foundation Event Info. 📅 Event Details

• Date: August 29 - August 30, 2025
• Location: 4401 Peak Dr, Loves Park, IL
• Registration: There is no race day registration.
• Fundraising: All funds raised benefit kids fighting cancer in the local community.

🏃‍♂️ Warrior 5K Details

• Course: 5k run/walk on paved bike path, this is an out and back course with water at the turnaround.
• Start Time: Saturday, 8/30/25 at 9:00 a.m.
• Rucksack: Not required to complete this event.
• Patches: All finishers receive a finishers patch, and age group awards will be given to the top 3 in each age group.

🎒 Warrior 10-30 Mile Ruck Details

• Start & Finish: Peak Sports Club Loves Park, IL.
• Event Time: Starts Friday, 8/29/25 at 6:00 p.m. and continues overnight.
• Mileage: Choose to complete 10, 20, or all 30 miles on 3, 10 mile looped routes over both trails and pavement.
• Rest Break: There will be a break after each 10 mile loop with water and limited snacks provided.

🛠️ Required Equipment for Ruck Events

• Rucksack: Backpack, Ruck Plate (20 lb. for >150 lbs, 10 lb. for <150 lbs).
• Hydration: 3L hydration bladder, water bottle (1L), electrolytes recommended.
• Safety: Headlamp with extra batteries, gloves (working gloves), first aid kit.
• Other: Hand sanitizer/wipes, windbreaker if temperature expected below 60℉, and 1-2 extra pairs of socks.

💪 Warrior Basic Challenge

This will be a 4-5 hour Warrior Fitness Challenge that is a team event, not a race. The event starts and finishes at Peak Sports Club Loves Park, IL. The Warrior Basic Challenge includes:

• Distance: 8-12 miles rucking over both trails and pavement.
• Activities: Physical training, calisthenics, and functional strength training using your rucksack for resistance.
• Start Time: Saturday, 8/30/25 at 12:00 p.m.
• Refund Policy: No refunds or deferrals, rain or shine: event will proceed unless cancelled by the Warrior Foundation due to adverse weather conditions.

🏁 Warrior Crucible

The Warrior Crucible consists of completing all three events: Warrior 30 Mile Ruck, Warrior 5k, and finishing with the Warrior Basic Challenge. Participants completing all three events will earn an additional crucible patch. Start and Finish for all events is at Peak Sports Club Loves Park, IL.
