• Race Types: 5k and 10-mile run/walk

Race Details

• Start/Finish: Near the Zenith Park Way Trail Head
• Course: The races will go along Willow Creek Path and into Rock Cut State Park.
• Start Method: Gun start for both races at the same time.
• Kid Friendly: All participants aged 18 and under are $15 (price adjustment at checkout).

Water Stops

• 10-Mile Course: Three water stops available.
• Location: Water stop near the dam, accessed twice.
• Additional Stop: North entrance to the park at the paved path crossing.

Race Charity

• Charity Partner: Fire Department Coffee Foundation.
• Support: Helping firefighters who are sick or injured on the job.

Race Swag

• Options: Several swag choices available at packet pickup.

Awards

• Age Group Awards: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 5-year increments up to 100+
• First Place Awards: Ceremony for top male and female finishers immediately after the race.
• General Awards: Other finishers can collect awards at the awards table (no mailed awards).

• Early Packet Pickup: Friday, April 24th at Fire Department Coffee from 10 am - 2 pm.
• Address: 811 W Riverside Blvd, Rockford, IL 61103
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, April 25th, from 7:00 am to 7:50 am.

Race Day Sign-up

• Availability: Sign-up will be available on race day.
• Pricing: $50 for 5K and $60 for 10-mile registration.
