Severance Glow 5K Run or Walk

🌟 Race Overview

• Event: Welcome to Severance's 1st Severance Glow 5K run/walk.
• Date: 2025-08-09
• Location: 100 Waterfowl Wy, Severance, CO 80550
• Theme: A night run where everyone is encouraged to dress in glow in the dark material or with glow sticks!

🎉 Event Highlights

• Course Lighting: We will provide lighting on the course.
• Music: A fun DJ will be at the start/finish line.
• Glow Sticks: Some glow sticks will be provided to "self decorate" before the race.
• After Party: Non-alcoholic as well as alcoholic beer/seltzers provided by High Country Beverage.

🏃‍♂️ Course Details

• Starting Point: The 5k course will begin at the west baseball field at the Severance Community park.
• Route: It will follow the Great Western Trail and down Ponderosa to Rangeview Elementary School and back to the Community Park.
• Start Time: We will start at 8:15pm.
• Collaboration: We are excited to partner with Severance Middle School and their cross-country team.

🏅 Participant Experience

• Timing: The race is professionally timed with chipped race bib.
• Swag: Participants can choose between the Severance Days 5k hat or this year's short sleeve performance t-shirt.
• Photography: A photographer will be along the course to take race day photos.
• Cause: A portion of the proceeds and donations from Severance Glow 5K will be going to help fund a new cross-country popup tent!
