• 5k: 8am
• 10K: 8am
• Half Marathon: 7am

🌲 Race Overview

Nestled in the wooded areas just south of Newaygo, about 40 minutes north of Grand Rapids, Hess Lake offers a very unique and scenic running experience that athletes crave. Far from the “same old” streets and suburbia that runners are accustomed to, the race course challenges even the most avid runners yet offers scenery that beginners can appreciate.

• Course Details: All courses touch the lakeshore drives of Hess Lake.
• 5K: Covers about 1/3 of the lakeshore.
• 10K: Runs once around the lake.
• Half Marathon: Does a second loop around the lake.

🌦️ Weather

The race will be held rain or shine. If there is lightning in the area, the race will either have a delayed start or, depending on the intensity of the weather, be canceled. The determination will be made by the Race Coordinators.

👕 T-Shirts

To ensure a specific race shirt size, runners must sign up by June 2nd, 2025.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

793 E 88th Street - Newaygo, MI (Back of the parking lot, under the tent)

• Friday: July 18th 5pm - 7pm
• Saturday: July 19th 6am-7:30am
