🎨 Caldwell in Color 5K Overview

The Caldwell Classic Color Run is organized by students from the National Honor Society and their teachers at Saint Pope John Paul II Preparatory School. We are coming together as a community to raise funds for The Jason Foundation, who calls Hendersonville their home. The Jason Foundation is dedicated to the prevention of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators/youth workers and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.

🌈 What to Expect

• Untimed Event: The Color Run is a fivish-kilometer, untimed event.
• Colorful Fun: Participants are doused from head to toe in different colored powder.
• Alternative Routes: Color-free routes are available for those who prefer to enjoy the sights without the color.

📅 Event Schedule

• Bib Pickup: Participants will be able to pick up their bibs, t-shirt and race bag on Thursday 4/24 during school lunch.
• On-Site Pickup: If needed, arrive by 8:00am at the Football Stadium concession stand for bib pickup.
• Late Registration: Will be available on site but t-shirt availability is not guaranteed.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive at JPII by 8:40 am at the latest.

⚠️ Course Information

• Surfaces: Be prepared to walk/run on different surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and grass.
• Stroller Advisory: The course is not friendly for traditional strollers.
• Pet Policy: Dogs are not recommended due to color safety: if brought, use the color-less route.

👕 Preparation Tips

• Clothing Warning: If you choose the color route, your clothes will stain, particularly if you wear white.
• Car Protection: Bring sheets or towels to protect your car seats.
• Cleanup Tools: Leaf blowers will be available to remove powder from skin, hair, and clothes.
• Safety Gear: Please wear eyeglasses and a bandana to cover eyes and mouth while passing through color stations.
