Red Fern Festival 5k

• Location: 400 N Muskogee Ave, Tahlequah, OK
• Festival Highlights: Celebrates "Where the Red Fern Grows" with arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, inflatables, petting zoos, and live music.

🏃 Race Details

• Course: New route starting and finishing at NSU Letters sign (corner of Goingsnake, Muskogee, and Smith).
• Weather Policy: Rain or shine event: no reschedule option, will become a virtual run if necessary.
• Start Time: 6:30 PM on April 24th for both 5k and Fun Run.
• Entertainment: Finish near food trucks and live music at Norris Park.

🐕 Running with Pets

• Dog Participation: Encouraged to run with dogs, reflecting their importance in the festival.
• Timing: Chip timed race by I:40 Race Service for serious runners.
• Finishers Medals: Awarded to all 5k participants.
• Trophies: Top 3 male and female finishers will receive trophies.

📝 Event Registration

• Registration Open: Starts at 5:30 PM on race day.
• Early Bird Fees: Fun Run for $25, 5k for $30 (until April 7th).
• Full Price Fees: Fun Run for $30, 5k for $35 (after April 7th to race day).
• T-shirt Guarantee: Register by April 7th for guaranteed shirt: after that, shirts are first come first serve.
