Red Fern Festival 5k

Event Overview

• Date: April 24-25
• Location: Tahlequah Main Street, 400 N Muskogee Ave, Tahlequah, OK
• Festival: 18th annual Red Fern Festival celebrating "Where the Red Fern Grows"
• Activities: Over 150 arts and crafts vendors, gourmet food trucks, inflatables, petting zoos, and live music

5k Race Information

• Course: New course starting and finishing at NSU Letters sign at the corner of Goingsnake, Muskogee, and Smith
• On Weather: Rain or shine event: if weather is unfavorable, it will convert to a virtual run
• Start Time: 6:30 PM on April 24th
• Location: Near food trucks and live music at Norris Park

Running with Dogs

• Encouragement: This social run welcomes dogs
• Chip Timing: Race timed by I:40 Race Service for competitive runners
• Finishers Medals: Awarded to all 5k participants
• Trophies: Given to top 3 male and female finishers

• Events: 5k and Fun Run
• Registration Open: 5:30 PM
• Start Times: Both the 5k and Fun Run will start at 6:30 PM

Registration Fees

• Early Bird Fees: Fun Run for $25, 5k for $30 (before April 7th)
• Full Price Fees: Fun Run for $30, 5k for $35 (after April 7th to Race Day)
• T-shirt: Register by April 7th for a guaranteed shirt: after that, shirts available on a first-come, first-served basis
