2025 Journal Jog 8K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us for the 54th running of the Journal Jog 8K – often referred to as “Reno’s Oldest Footrace”. It has been a Reno tradition for years. This is a family friendly event and a great challenge to all levels of runners and walkers. The Stroller Run event gives a parent the chance to full out run, yes, run with their stroller and try to place in the top 3. All the rest will enter the Run/Walk/Stroller Walk event.

📍 Race Details

• Date: 2025-08-24
• Location: 395 Booth St, Reno, NV
• Course: The course is a flat, fast 8K through scenic and historic old southwest Reno with the start/finish lines at Reno High School.

⏰ Race Start Times

• Running Stroller race start: 7:25 AM
• Runners/Walkers/Walking Strollers race start: 7:30 AM
