Race Details

• Support: Benefits Hub City Service Dogs, a local nonprofit training service dogs for those with disabilities.
• Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Routes: Scenic pathways through Hattiesburg, starting and finishing at Kamper Park.
• Community Involvement: Encouragement from volunteers and local service dog clients along the routes.

Canine Participation

• Health & Safety: Ensure your dog is healthy and conditioned for the event.
• Dog-Friendly Routes: 2 Mile and 5K routes allow dogs: the 5 Mile run does not.
• Requirements: Dogs must be leashed, vaccinated, and should not use retractable leashes.
• Water Stations: Available for both runners and dogs along the route.

Event Festivities

• Food: Breakfast by Topher's for all participants.
• Run-by Dog Pageant: Judged by local celebrities, with categories for dog tricks and costumes.
• Finisher Medals: Custom medals for all finishers, with limited edition event t-shirts available.
• Finish Line Festival: Enjoy vendors, refreshments, entertainment, and door prizes.

Awards & Recognition

• Finisher Medals: Limited Edition custom medals for all participants.
• Top Ten "Big Dogs": Awards for fastest finishers in each category.
• Categories: Awards for fastest male & female in 5 Mile, and fastest with/without dogs in 5K and 2 Mile.
• Run-by Dog Pageant Categories: Coolest Dog, Best Dressed, Best Parent/Pooch Pair, Tiny Tot, Super Dog, Diva Dog, Most Handsome Hound.

Packet Pick Up

• Friday: 4:30-7:00 p.m. at Keg and Barrel, 1315 Hardy Street.
• Saturday: 6:15 - 7:15 a.m. at Kamper Park near the start line.
