We are excited to announce for a second year this years proceeds will be donated to ILAAD, Inc.

About ILAAD, Inc.

• Formation: ILADD, Inc. was formed in 2019.
• Mission: To provide housing, enrichment/educational programs, and social options.
• Focus: Enabling adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities (IDD).
• Goal: To help them live in homes of their own and enjoy fulfilling lives in their communities.

Embark on an extraordinary journey at the Hustle in the Heartland 8-Hour Run/Walk, where endurance meets community spirit in the heart of Indiana. This unique event invites participants of all fitness levels to challenge themselves on a looped course, aiming to cover as much distance as possible within an 8-hour timeframe.

Step up to the challenge at the Hustle in the Heartland 8-Hour Run/Walk, where grit, endurance, and community come together on a one-mile-ish paved loop in the heart of the Midwest! Whether you're chasing a personal best, testing your limits, or simply enjoying the journey, this event is built for runners and walkers of all levels.

Entrance Policy for Non-Binary and Trans Athletes

• Registration Options: Participants can select from Male, Female, or Non-Binary during registration.
• Inclusivity: We respect all gender identities and participants are welcome to register in the category that aligns with their identity.
• Affirmation: Trans and non-binary runners will not be questioned or challenged on their gender identity.
• Overview: The policy aims to foster a supportive environment for all participants.

Results & Timing

• Standings: Non-binary athletes will appear in the overall standings.
• Category Representation: They will also appear in their selected gender category, if applicable.
• Results Accuracy: Results will reflect the participant’s chosen gender identity.
• Consent Required: Changes to this information will not be made without consent.

Awards

• Eligibility: Non-binary runners will be eligible for place awards in their own category.
• Choice: They may also choose to compete in the category in which they most closely identify.
