Run the Plank

Event Overview

Run the Plank is a 5K race along the east side of Romeo Plank Road. Starting at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Romeo Plank, participants will have the option to run or walk the roughly three miles north to St. Peter Lutheran Church on 24 Mile.

Participation Details

• Accommodations: We can accommodate runners, joggers, walkers and strollers: however, pets are not permitted.
• Fun Run: Returning in 2026 - 1 Mile Fun Run.
• Time: The 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on the grounds of St Peter Lutheran Church during the Family Fun Fair after the 5K. Start time is approximately 9:30 AM and registration is not required.

Registration Fee Includes

• Tech T-Shirt: Included in registration fee.
• Medal: Medal with lanyard.
• Pasta Meal: Complimentary pasta lunch/dinner on Friday, June 26 during Packet Pick-Up.
• Family Fun Fitness Fair: Complimentary Family Fun Fitness Fair with food and beverages.

Parking and Transportation

Participants will park at St. Peter Lutheran Church (Romeo Plank and 24 Mile Road) and buses will transport to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Bus transportation begins at 6:30 a.m. Additional details regarding transportation will be provided during Packet Pick-Up on Friday, June 26.

Event Details and Schedule

• Friday, June 26: Packet Pick-Up from Noon - 7 pm.
• Saturday, June 27: Bus Transportation from St Peter to Immanuel from 6:15 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
• Race Announcements: Line Up at 8:00 a.m.
• Race Start: Scheduled for 8:15 a.m.

Packet Pick-Up Information

Friday, June 26, noon - 7 pm at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 47120 Romeo Plank Rd (at 21 Mile Road).

Pricing Information

• Early Bird Pricing: $35 per person on or before Wednesday, April 15.
• Regular Registration: $40 per person from Thursday, April 16th - Monday, June 15th.
• Late Registration: $45 per person from Tuesday, June 16th - Thursday, June 25 and $50 per person on Friday, June 26.
• Shirt Size: Must Register by June 1st for Guaranteed Shirt Size.

There is NO race day registration and NO refunds.
