• Founder: This race was created by Eviana Barnes as a memorial for her friend, Megan Stephenson.
• Beneficiary: Proceeds benefit the Maruka Family Fairmont Senior High School Foundation Scholarship.
• Honor: The scholarship is in honor of Megan.
• Family Tribute: It also honors her grandparents, Ross & Dolores Maruka, and her Uncle Russell Neptune.
