💖 In Memory of Maxton

We're hosting the inaugural Maxton Gudowski 5K Memorial Run/Walk. Maxton was tragically taken from us on July 25th, 2024. Maxton was an avid runner when he was younger and was always loving, caring, and willing to help anyone in need. We feel this is a suiting way to memorialize him.

🙏 Supporting Nonprofits

Each year we will be choosing a few different nonprofit organizations to spread Maxton's love and kindness on his behalf. This first year, all proceeds from the online race registration will be going to Duluth Harbor Mission (for more info on who they are, visit their site: https://www.duluthhm.org/about/). We will also be having a raffle the day of the race, with proceeds from the raffle going to Animal Allies and School District of Superior Angel Fund.

📍 Location Significance

We chose to hold this event at Portman Park, located in the Lakeside neighborhood of Duluth, MN. Maxton lived in Lakeside for nearly 5 years, an area that was special to him: he frequented the businesses and outdoor areas there often.
