Run for Recovery

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

We hope you will join us this year at our annual Run for Recovery, where we will also celebrate Recovery Resources’ 70th-year platinum anniversary!

At the Run, runners, and walkers of all ages come together to support, celebrate, remember, and raise funds in support of our mission: “Helping people triumph over mental illness, alcoholism, drug, and other addictions.”

⏰ Schedule

• 7:00am: Open Registration and Packet Pickup Begins
• 7:15am: Zoo Gate Opens, Community Tables Open
• 8:15am: Opening Ceremonies @ Palava Hut
• 8:25am: Kids' Fun Run

Registration fees include wristband for admission into the Zoo all day!

• Registration/Packet Pick Up: 7:00am
• 5K Run/Walk: 8:30am
• One Mile Wellness Walk: 8:50am

• 5K: Run/Walk
• One Mile: Wellness Walk

⏱️ Timing

• 5K: Chip Timed
• One Mile Wellness Walk: Not Timed

📝 Registration

• Pre-Registration: until Thursday, August 7 at midnight.
• 5k: $35 (race day: $40)
• 1 mile not timed: $20 (race day: $25)
• Kid's Fun Run: $20 (race day: $25)

Supporter - $15 (race day: $20, no shirt)
Virtual Participant - $35 Registration after Saturday, August 2nd or on race day: T-shirts are not guaranteed and sizes are subject to availability!

Registration fees include wristband for admission into the Zoo all day! Per Zoo policy, free entry for children under the age of two.

🎽 Participants Receive

A short-sleeved t-shirt and post-race refreshments and can enjoy the Zoo all day! MUST PICK UP YOUR WRISTBAND AT REGISTRATION AND ENTER THE ZOO BY 10AM!

1ST PLACE RUN MEDALS FOR FEMALE & MALE IN THE FOLLOWING AGE BRACKETS:

Supporters wanting to cheer on runners/walkers will need to register for the event. There is a "Supporter" option when registering.
