Shake off the winter chill and welcome the sunshine with the Spring Fling Race Series — the hottest 5K / 10K event of the season! Lace up, grab your crew, and join us for a morning full of music, medals, and Bigfoot magic. From our littlest Yetis in the Kids Dash to seasoned runners chasing PRs, there’s something for everyone!

• Kids Dash (10 & Under): A fun 20-yard dash for our little Yetis! Includes a race tee, a special Bigfoot Kids Dash finisher medal, and exclusive Kids Dash pin. Our crew captures every adorable moment. Not timed — pure fun!
• 1 Mile: Perfect for all ages and experience levels. Includes a race tee and finisher medal. Not chip-timed.
• 5K (3.11 miles): Chip-timed with awards and plenty of energy! 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy, 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin, Standard age group awards
• 10K (6.22 miles): Double the distance, double the glory! 1st Overall M/F – Bigfoot Trophy, 1st Masters (40+) – Special recognition pin, Standard age group awards

• 6:30–7:45 AM: Packet Pickup
• 7:55 AM: Kids Dash (meet at start line)
• 8:00 AM: National Anthem & Race Start
• Results & awards available live at the registration tent!

Volunteer Opportunities

• Volunteer Then Run: Be part of the action and run the 5K! Includes a chip-timed bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal. Limited to first 5 sign-ups only.
• Full Race Volunteer: Perfect for those who want to help but not run this time. Volunteers will not participate in the race and receive Bigfoot race shirt, VIP race access, and choice of a FREE future race entry or $20 Amazon digital gift card.

Volunteer Roles & Ratings

• Water Station: Keep cups filled and cheer on runners! Rating: Chill position with great interaction.
• Course Monitors: Located at key safety points. Rating: Fun, exciting — right in the action.
• Finish Line Helper: Assist with medals, refreshments, and cheering finishers. Rating: Easy and fun — at the heart of the celebration.
• Turtle / Sweeper: Support the final participant and alert volunteers. Rating: Slightly physical — rewarding and great exercise.

Important Notes

• Shirt Guarantee: 10 days before race day. After that, limited availability.
• Weather: Races proceed rain or shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Opens 1.5 hours before race start. Any additional pickups announced by email 1 week prior to the race.
• Course Surface: Expect mixed surfaces (pavement, crushed granite, dirt paths).

Public Space Notice: Events take place in public parks, greenbelts, and roads. You may encounter park users such as dog walkers or families with strollers. Please be courteous and aware.
