Race Overview

Run for Wine and have a great time at Wind Vineyards! Good Day for a Run proudly teams up with Wind Vineyards for this amazing race through the 200 acre scenic property!

The Race

• Distance: 5K race on well-groomed and maintained trails (Hard Packed dirt and some grass) through the 200 acre property.
• Timing: Chip Timed race with awards for Top 3 Overall and Age Group Male/Female Winners (Under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, every 10 yrs.)
• Amenities: Water Stop on Course and at Finish.
• Refreshments: Bananas, Water, and Wine at Finish.
• Course Support: Friendly Course Marshals and Accurate Signage on Course.
• Course Map: Coming Soon (There will be 2 short hills between the front and back properties, otherwise the course is mostly flat!)

The Fun

• Complimentary Wine: Glass of wine for all participants (21+).
• Entertainment: Post race live music 'til noon by Spike Burton - INFO.
• Food Options: On-site food options available!
• Atmosphere: Fun and Relaxing environment to enjoy all day!
• Spectators: Encouraged and welcome!

• Tech Shirt: High quality Tech Shirt for all participants (Register by Sept. 15th to guarantee 1st Choice).

• Weather: Race is Rain or Shine.
• Strollers: Permitted (Please note this is trail/cross country style terrain. Some strollers may not be suitable. Please start toward the back of the pack).
• Refunds: No Refunds or Transfers.
• Walkers: Welcome (1 Hour time limit please).
• Youth: Suitable for youth participants too.
• Packet Pick-Up: Scheduled for Race day from 7:30 - 8:30 AM @ "Good Day for a Run" tent. Runners/walkers arrive by 8:30 to pick up bib and shirts.
